Students in grades 8-12 are invited to join us for a book club to discuss Turning 15 On the Road to Freedom by Lynda Blackmon Lowery.
As the youngest marcher in the 1965 Voting Rights March, Lynda Blackmon Lowery proved that young adults can be heroes. Fighting alongside Dr. MLK Jr for the rights of African-Americans, Lowery sets an example of how to fight nonviolently and be a part of real change in America.
